AES Exhibiting at Workplace Health & Safety Show 2023
Our team will be heading to the Workplace Health & Safety Show to showcase some of our newest safety monitoring technology. Taking place on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st of September at Sydney Showground, the show will host hundreds of delegates attending workshops, presentations and looking for the latest innovative solutions in workplace health and safety.
AES will be exhibiting on Stand number A7 and we’re excited to be bringing our newest safety devices for delegates to try. Technological advances in the wearable safety monitor sector have advanced significantly over the past few years and we’re proud to be representing some of these innovative products at the show.
Real-time wearable hazard monitoring equipment
Hand-arm vibration monitoring combined with a proximity alarm system in one smart watch describes the R-Link from Reactec. This multi-function device is designed to help workers monitor the risk of exposure to hand-arm vibration and has the capability to alert workers of their proximity to dangerous vehicles or equipment.
The XD1+ is a truly wearable dust monitor with no tubes, filters or pumps needed. The self-contained monitor is designed to be used in conjunction with traditional compliance dust sampling methods to provide a real-time alert to dangerous levels of dust – all the time.
Heat stress is becoming a more prevalent topic, especially with the anticipation of a record-breaking hot summer ahead of us. Workers need to be properly protected and understanding workers’ needs and their individual reaction to heat is essential. The Kenzen patch is specifically designed to be worn by workers to monitor their vital physiological statistics in response to working in heat.
The Smart Alert solution from Minuendo has not been officially launched by us yet, but delegates will have a chance to see the device on our stand. Smart Alert is a complete solution consisting of hearing protection with noise monitoring and a data service that provides automatic notifications and actionable guidance on noise exposure. Come and see us for a sneaky peak!
Solutions all in one place
Don’t forget, we also have a range of other hazard monitoring equipment including confined space entry gas detectors, respiratory fit-testers, early warning devices detecting silica and asbestos and environmental hazard monitoring equipment. We have manufacturer qualified service technicians to fully service and calibrate equipment and a well-stocked hire department for short and long-term requirements.
