Active Environmental Solutions (AES) will be exhibiting at this year’s Workplace Health & Safety Show taking place at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on the 22nd and 23rd May 2024. The event offers one of the largest showcases of technology, products and services keeping workforces and environments safe. We will be exhibiting and demonstrating our latest innovative technologies in the hazard monitoring sector for reducing risk of employee exposure to harmful environments and increasing worker safety.

AES will be demonstrating the latest wearable technology for gas detection in confined spaces, monitoring exposure to hazardous dust levels, and a smart watch capable of alerting for an increase in hand-arm vibration (HAV) levels and close proximity to dangerous areas, vehicles or machinery.

Our sales team will be conducting demonstrations of the proximity alert system capability of the R-Link smart watch on our stand (P02). This wearable sensor with built-in ultra-wideband technology provides an alert to the wearer when they become too close to a designated exclusion zone or moving vehicle.  The powerful R-Link analytics platform provides intelligent insights on the who, where and how often near misses occur, allowing you to prevent future incidents. Whether it be behaviours or workflow hot spots, you can gain the insight needed to create effective controls.

We’ll have the latest 4 gas detector from MSA which comes with out-of-the-box connectivity providing easy set-up with no on-site integration needed- it works from day one. The partnering cloud-based software provides real-time visibility across worksites, workers and workflows ensuring compliance, unrivalled safety and an easy fleet management process.

Also on our stand will be the XD1+, a compact, wearable dust monitor which provides readings in real-time. It is designed to be worn by workers who could potentially be exposed to high levels of dust- everyday. This early warning device will be available for you to try on alongside its connected data viewing platform, the BreatheMOBILE app.

The AES team will be available to discuss how these wearable, connected and real-time devices can help champion safety among your workforce and highlight the importance of collecting data sets over time to curate a culture that prioritises safety and well-being.

We will also have the upgraded AccuFIT9000 PRO respirator fit tester, complete with on-screen animations to easily lead a user performing a respirator fit-test through the process. Businesses are responsible for providing the correct type and properly fitted respiratory equipment for their employees and our AccuFIT9000 PRO fit-tester can fit all types of respirators including N95, P100 and N99, FFP1, FFP2, FFP3 and full and half face elastomerics.

Stand P02- Please come by and talk to us about any of the products mentioned, or if you are looking at taking the first steps to integrating wearable, connected devices into your safety programmes, we’re more than happy to help you find the best solution for your needs!
