For the first time AES will be attending and exhibiting at the New Zealand Occupational Hygiene Society Conference on 8th – 9th May in Christchurch. The annual conference is in its 3rd year which see’s industry professionals gather to discuss a range of topics currently influencing their field of work.
The 2-day programme will cover subjects including practical heat stress assessments utilising phone and tablet applications, sessions on gas monitoring, an update of enforcement trends and case law, and indoor air quality standards for the future.
Keynote speakers will also deliver important presentations including an address from current AIOH President Tracey Bence, on ‘Old diseases, new approaches: how did we miss it and what are we doing now about the resurgence of occupational respiratory illnesses in Australia?’
The conference also provides a chance for delegates to visit exhibitors, including AES, to discuss current themes in the industry and get hands on experience with the latest equipment for monitoring hazards in the workplace.
We will be on booth #4 showcasing the latest technology in real-time silica dust monitoring and real-time asbestos detection. These innovative devices are leading the way to help decrease exposure to these dangerous substances that are contributing to the current resurgence of occupational respiratory illnesses.
Please come and talk to us if you are attending the conference to find out what else we have to offer for hazard monitoring equipment for purchase and hire.
