Mercury Monitors

Mercury exists in many forms, from elemental (or metallic) and inorganic to organic.

It is found in the air, water and soil, but some industries pose the risk of overexposure. Each of these forms differs in its degree of toxicity and in the health problems they can cause. AES can help you to avoid issues related to mercury exposure with our range of handheld mercury monitors.

AES currently supplies two reputable mercury analysers – the J405 and the J505, both of which are portable, lightweight and more durable than competing spectroscopy instruments.

J505

As this mercury vapour detector utilises atomic fluorescence to detect mercury, no regenerations or downtime are required. This also means that it avoids many of the interferences encountered by devices that operate according to atomic absorption. The detector meets and exceeds EPA standards for both industrial and residential applications.

J405

This mercury detector utilises industry-proven, inherently stable and reliable gold film sensor technology. Rest assured that it is tough enough for nearly any environment thanks to its sturdy metal housing and solid-state design. With 24 hours of battery life and onboard data logging, rest assured that this instrument will always be ready when you need it.

Areas We Serve

AES supplies our complete range of mercury detectors to all Australian capital cities, including: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Darwin and Canberra.
