AES will be showcasing its wide range of hazard monitoring equipment on booth number 4 in the exhibition hall of the Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety conference from Sunday 22nd August to Wednesday 25th August 2021.

This year’s conference is being held at The Star on the Gold Coast promoting health and safety across the industry. Delegates and exhibitors will be able to come together to discuss important health and safety issues within the key theme of ‘Together we Collaborate, Innovate and Educate.’

The Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference is an initiative to promote health and safety in the Queensland mining industry. It provides the industry with the opportunity to exchange information, network and foster proactive health and safety management techniques.

AES will be available for hands on demonstrations of their wide range of expert equipment including dust and silica particulate monitors, both portable and fixed gas detection units, noise and sound detection, and the latest wireless technology devised for detecting levels of Hand Arm Vibration (HAVs), and body worn physiological monitors for heat stress analysis.

Tim Brewer, Regional Sales Manager for AES Queensland said, “We’re really excited to be able to attend the QLD Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference this year as we have an extensive range of hazard monitoring equipment which can be utilized to increase safety procedures in the mining industry. We know that the safety of employees is paramount for employers, and we aim to help achieve these high safety standards with assurance from our hazard monitoring equipment.

“I will be attending from our office in Brisbane and will be available to answer any questions delegates may have about monitoring for hazards within the mining industry. We have a brand-new personal dust monitor, useful as a tool in monitoring for respirable silica, that has been championed as the simplest self-contained, most affordable unit on the market. The XD One from Trolex will be available to view on our stand in the exhibition room, and I look forward to meeting everyone there.”
