AES Booth #35-38
Last year’s AIOH exhibition and conference was unfortunately postponed due to the ongoing pandemic, but it has now been confirmed for the 19th -23rd March 2022 at the International Conference Centre in Sydney. With the key theme as Challenge for Change, we thought it was pretty fitting to bring some new and exciting products to the exhibition which include two world-first technologies.
The pandemic has challenged the way we work and forced us to think smarter about the way we conduct hazard monitoring. This has resulted in advanced developments for monitoring two of the most harmful hazards in the working environment, asbestos, and respirable crystalline silica dust.
AES have partnered with UK based Alert Technology to successfully bid for a government grant, through the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources to run an initial 3-month feasibility study to test real-time technology for airborne asbestos warning devices in Australia. The device from Alert Technology will be available the conference for demonstrations and more in-depth discussions on our booth.
To book your one-to-one meeting please fill your details in here.
Another exciting project we have been involved in is the development of a real-time silica dust monitor. This has been developed in conjunction with NSW government agency, the Centre for Work Health and Safety and UK based manufacturer, Trolex. AES will be the prime distributor of the Air XS silica monitor when it launches in May. We will have a demo unit on our booth, so come and take a look!
If you'd like to secure a one-to-one meeting to discuss the real-time silica monitor please book here.
We’ll also be asking you to ‘Challenge Your Reality’ and put your skills to the test in our special action packed activity which will be open on our exhibition booth #35-38 from Monday 21st March when the exhibition opens. There’ll be a prize for the winner so make sure you come and give it your best shot!
One of the more rewarding parts of our involvement with the AIOH is awarding the AES-sponsored Post Graduate Scholarship Award, which gives an AIOH member an opportunity to develop their academic credentials in occupational hygiene through postgraduate study. This will be announced during the conference.
This will be the 20th year we have attended and sponsored the AIOH conference and exhibition, and we’re excited to be a large part of it again this year. We are Platinum supporters of the 2021 conference and exhibition, and have sponsored the Welcome Drinks and Welcome Dinner which kicks off the programme of events on Sunday evening.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all there.
