Single Charger
Use only the approved charger for the battery to prevent damage to the battery or charger. Using a non-approved charger voids the SKC warranty.
- Store and charge batteries in the recommended temperature range of 41 to 114 F (5 to 45 C); extreme temperatures may interfere with battery capacity. Battery "self-discharge" during storage is influenced by battery chemistry and temperature.
- Rotate battery stock to avoid idle periods in excess of one month. Batteries lose their charge over time, even when not used.
- Charge packs fully before and after use and before storage to maintain as full a charge as possible. Check the battery (charged or uncharged) periodically with a voltmeter for optimum performance. The voltmeter reading should display the voltage indicated on the battery label ± 0.5 V. if it does not, the battery will not perform adequately.
